Le Pain Quotidien

LPQ is a Belgian success story spreading across Europe and it is easy to see why. It’s a bakery, a café and a produce store, and it excels at all three. The house made baguette is deliciously chewy and best enjoyed with jam or chocolate spread from the pots in the centre of the large communal table or with their famous soft boiled eggs. The salads are fresh and tasty, as are the tartines. The café au lait is served in a mug big enough to be a bowl, but you may need a large coffee as you may want to stay here for a while.
