La Lucciola

With a dramatic setting in a two storey, open air wooden pagoda, “La Looch” is Seminyak’s pioneer beachside dining spot and the perfect casual scene at sunset. Sarong clad waiters parade sumptuous Italian dishes and refreshing granitas. La Luciola also serves a great brunch. The perfectly manicured lawn in front is as picturesque as the ocean vista.

Metis

With a polished interior and a softly lit, spacious terrace overlooking a spectacular rice field, Metis (from the Warisan duo) is one of the hottest dining spots in Bali. It offers a truly special dining experience with French flair. Against the backdrop of the resident DJ, where diners can enjoy a globally-inspired food and wine experience and flit between the lounge, patisserie and boutique. Expect a chic crowd to set the scene at this exquisite and contemporary dining spot.

Sardine

Also overlooking rice paddies, Sardine is an idyllic escape from the sometimes intense Seminyak beach scene. Try the superb seafood and organic produce from Sardine’s own farm. Depending on your mood, opt for a table in the bamboo cabana or a spot in the lounge bar, and enjoy the stylish but casual atmosphere.

Sarong

Sarong has become an overnight success and it’s easy to see why. This Seminyak hotspot has it all – extravagance, intimacy and vibrancy. The Asian fusion menu is sublime making it almost impossible to choose what to order (but noting that the stir fry chilli crab is sublime!). A night-only venue, Sarong doubles as a lounge and bar, and has created an inspiring list of cocktails including zest martinis and cool mules. Don’t miss it.
